This is an amazing opportunity to join one of the largest programmes in the UK, supporting the Procurement Director in developing a £1 billion package of works.
Day rate: £900.00 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: London
Hybrid working: 3 days office/site, 2 days working from home
The Role:
The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a key government client who is leading on the procurement for a new £1 billion package of works on one of the UK's mega projects. This role is a hands-on Procurement Consultant, supporting the Procurement Director and managing this package of works, making sure the business case and buying strategies stay on track. This work needs to align with all the moving parts of the scheme, like new project baselines and internal shifts, to ensure everything stays consistent.
Working with the senior leadership team, you will be working alongside the Programme Director, who is managing the master schedule. Tracking risks, and ensuring they keep the project moving at pace without losing quality in the procurement process.
A major part of the job is handling approvals and stakeholders. The Procurement Consultant will prepare all the paperwork for stakeholders to review and sign-off on, stakeholders including the Treasury. From supporting in the business case through to leading the bidding process.
You will bridge the gap between different packages already awarded, making sure all the stakeholders are involved, keeping a clear line of communication, and ensuring the brief is ready to achieve the key milestones.
