The Opportunity

The Resolute Group has partnered with a premier national client managing over 400 UK assets and an extensive, high-value Southern property portfolio. Working directly for the asset owner, you will oversee the live projects being undertaken on their Assets. Overseeing the contractors delivering various projects on site, from re-fits, EV charging and refurbishments to the premises. Managing multiple, low-value (£10k - £5m) projects, based across the south coast and southern region. This could be as basic as Kitchen fit outs, Toilet refurbishments, new lighting, and fit-out-led projects. You will be expected to lead on the projects as the client, ensuring the projects are being delivered on time, against budget with all associated risk being identified and reported. Building open relationships with your supply chain to allow collaboration and providing solutions to problems, not just passing them on in a report.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Establish project scopes, budgets, schedules, resource allocations, and risk management strategies.
  • Milestone Tracking: Coordinate with the contractors on site, ensuring targets are met and early warnings are in place to resolve any potential delays.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify, assess, and implement proactive response strategies for programme-level risks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate deep relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and associated departments.
  • Governance & Reporting: Present comprehensive project progress, RAMS, and risk documentation to executive boards.

This role requires travelling to various sites and across large distances from Cornwall to Kent and as high as the M4 corridor. You have the full autonomy to plan your week for the site inspections, but you may need to stay in the area for a couple of days to ensure all the sites are visited.

Candidate Requirements

  • Consultancy or Client Background: Proven Project Management experience in managing projects as the client in a live delivery environment.
  • Sector Expertise: Building / fit-out is ideal, but any sector (Public, Private, Infrastructure) would be considered.
  • Academic Baseline: Degree qualified.
  • Mobility: Full UK driving licence.
  • Right to Work: Valid, unrestricted eligibility to live and work in the UK.

PLEASE NOTE: You must be living and working in the UK to be considered for this position.
