Senior Planner | HV / Substations Working for an engineering delivery partner focused on mission-critical high voltage substation projects supporting Scotland’s energy transition. Location: Glasgow Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 Package. Role Description We’re partnering with an experienced engineering delivery team working on complex high voltage (132kV-400kV) substation and transmission projects in Glasgow and surrounding areas. This role involves planning and scheduling activities to support the delivery of electrical infrastructure projects. You will work closely with the client, project managers, and main contractors to develop detailed construction schedules, monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure alignment with contract obligations. Key responsibilities could include but are not limited to: Developing integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project Supporting construction phasing, resource levelling, and critical path analysis Leading schedule reviews and updating internal and client stakeholders Assisting with client schedule negotiations and EPC contract compliance (e.g., NEC, FIDIC) Identifying risks and supporting delay recovery strategies Required Experience Formal qualification – HNC / HND or Degree in Engineering 3 years’ experience in planning within power/energy or T&D projects Experience with Primavera P6 Familiarity with NEC, FIDIC, or DBO contract frameworks PLEASE NOTE You must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position.
