An excellent opportunity for an experienced Design Manager, guiding the delivery of data centre projects from concept through detailed design and construction. This role will play a pivotal part in managing and growing the design team while ensuring high-quality, coordinated, and innovative design solutions.

The Resolute Group is working in partnership with an International, Engineering and Design Consultancy to assist with expanding their M&E Team who focus on Data Centre Projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multi-disciplinary design teams, ensuring all electrical, mechanical, and architectural designs for data centre projects are aligned with project requirements, standards, and client expectations.
- Oversee the development of conceptual and detailed designs, including space planning, load allocation, and system integration.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and consultants to resolve design challenges and ensure seamless integration across disciplines.
- Mentor and support junior design staff, fostering development and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations, codes, and best practices within the data centre sector.
- Support the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and specifications to facilitate construction and commissioning.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and sustainability across all design activities.
Experience:
- A Bachelor and/or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Ideally 5+ years relevant work experience within the construction or engineering industry.
- Experience with Revit /BIM software.
