Job Description:
The Resolute Group is working in partnership with an International Engineering and Design Consultancy to assist with expanding their M&E Team who focus on Data Centre Projects.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Oversee the execution of small-scale projects, including research, development, design, and coordination of engineering project services for mechanical installations, systems, equipment, and facilities.
- Design and implement controls, instruments, and operating systems for various building engineering services applications.
- Conduct surveys, tests, and assessments of existing electrical and mechanical installations, providing detailed reports.
- Specify activities to ensure manufacturing, construction, installation, and testing align with functional specifications and customer needs.
- Prepare and modify specifications using tools such as Word or Excel.
- Ensure that engineering calculations and drawings adhere to industry standards and legal requirements.
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Skills and knowledge:
- Proficient in the English language.
- Previous professional experience working on similar projects within the UK.
- Strong understanding of key health and safety issues and legislation.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel, and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to utilize IT‑based calculation and spreadsheet software effectively.
