The Resolute Group has been retained to secure an Associate Director for a leading client-side consultancy supporting major energy, utilities and infrastructure programmes, including a key National Grid framework linked to the Great Grid Partnership. This is a senior, client-facing commercial leadership role for an experienced professional who can operate at programme level, advise on NEC matters and lead commercial teams across complex infrastructure portfolios.
The role will involve:
- Leading commercial management across major energy, utilities and infrastructure programmes
- Acting as a senior commercial and NEC adviser to clients and stakeholders
- Providing expert guidance across NEC3 / NEC4 contracts
- Overseeing valuations, forecasting, reporting, claims, variations and final accounts
- Establishing robust commercial governance across multiple commissions
- Focused on successful project delivery of a contract
- Working closely with senior leadership on strategy, delivery and profit and loss (P&L) performance
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience operating at a Senior level within a Commercial environment, with strong commercial leadership experience across major infrastructure programmes
- Excellent NEC contract knowledge
- Background in either Highways, Rail, Water, Utilities, Aviation, Power, Energy or major capital programmes operating under NEC form of contract
- Experience managing senior client relationships and complex commercial portfolios
- Degree or Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
- Ideally Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) or equivalent
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
