Role Description
The Resolute Group are working with a key client in the Infrastructure sector who is about to undergo a major programme upgrade on their site. As such, they need a Head of Commercial to manage the Project commercial costs and contractors that will be on site.
Your portfolio will be valued at around £300m, delivering various packages that will be awarded to different suppliers within the supply chain. Based around Civil Engineering, Utilities, Enabling works, and on-site infrastructure.
Your role will vary depending on the programme but could include:
- Framework Leadership - Contract negotiation and work allocation to the various contractors on site and part of the supply chain.
- Contract Lifecycle Management – Managing a team handling the cost management, performance management and any dispute management that may occur. Leading the reporting structure and key stakeholder interfaces.
- Contract Strategy – Working with central procurement team to re-procure packages of works as the opportunity arises.
- Leadership – Lead a small team of Commercial professionals that will manage your programme of works.
This is a 5 year programme that is currently under development and as such, a great opportunity to join at the start of the programme and develop your team around you.
Perfect opportunity to move from a Tier 1 contractor and looking to move into a client-side operation, in a more strategic role.
Qualifications / Experience
- Degree – Minimum requirement
- Major project experience ideally under NEC or bespoke contracts around NEC
- Living in or around London as you will be in the office 3 days a week.
