The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a reputable civil engineering contractor that is expanding its Health, Safety and Environment team

Location: – Warrington, Northwest region

Job type: – Full time, Permanent

Salary: – £40,000 – £45,000 basic + Car + Package

In this role, you will look to work for a large contracting company with an excellent reputation and commitment to Health and Safety as groundwork and infrastructure schemes valued between £5m – £20m. You will be split between office and site locations, it will be your responsibility to ensure standards and procedures are maintained accordingly.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include.

• Provide support and assistance to senior management and subordinates on SHE issues.
• Attend pre-commencement meetings as requested to proactively contribute to the initial decisions made by the contract team.
• Provide assistance/advice to the organisation to enable statutory notices to be applied for when required.
• Assist the Regional SHE Manager in preparing health and safety strategies and developing internal policy.
• Produce RAMS.
• Planned site visits and audits including reporting and follow-up actions.
• Identify training needs and deliver on-site training including toolbox talks.
• Investigate accidents and incidents.
• Ensure Company compliance with CDM regulations and other relevant statutes.

You don't need to be fully competent in all the duties listed above as training and development is available, the right attitude and culture fit is more important.

Your requirements will include:

• NEBOSH or other relevant qualification.
• Experience in the Civil Engineering / Infrastructure sector.
• Full clean driving licence.
