Procurement Manager An amazing opportunity to move in to the Energy and Power sector. Basic:- £75,000 + Car or Allowance + Bonus Hybrid working:- 2/3 days in the office / 2/3 days working from home Working on some of the largest Energy and Power projects in Scotland for the next 10 years. The perfect chance to transfer from another Tier 1 Contractor in the Infrastructure or Construction sector into the Power and Energy sector. We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Procurement Manager to join our team on the Power frameworks, supporting the delivery of a range of exciting power transmission schemes. Delivering £3 billion of projects over the next 5 years, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone keen to further develop their skills and take on increasing levels of responsibility within a major infrastructure framework. Manage end-to-end subcontract and materials procurement processes, ensuring best practice, best value, and alignment with programme requirements. • Lead procurement activities including EOI, PQQ, ITT, contractor scoring, and contract awards. • Manage, develop, and segment the supply chain database to build robust subcontractor packages. • Own and update procurement schedules, reporting accurately on buying gains and losses. • Support work-winning efforts through tender inputs, procurement strategies, supplier selection, and relevant meetings. • Collaborate with delivery teams to manage supply chain performance while promoting safety, sustainability, and ethical practices. Proven experience as a Senior Buyer or Procurement Manager within the civil engineering or infrastructure sector (e.g., Rail, Highways, Water, Environmental/Coastal/Flood Defence). • Solid understanding of subcontract terms and contract negotiation. • Excellent relationship management skills with a focus on building safe, sustainable, and innovative supply chain partnerships.
