Estimator Location: – Swindon (Hybrid 2/3 days on site and 2/3 days at home) Salary: – £50,000 – £55,000 (DOE) + Car Option + Package Job Type: – Full time, Permanent Role Description The Resolute Group are working with a national infrastructure contractor who has secured two additional long-term rail frameworks with Network Rail minor works and looking for additional estimating support. The projects are part of the Minor works framework, bidding on projects from £100k – £1m all based around trackside work, including vegetation, earthworks, clearance and enabling work. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for the bidding process from Network Rail, pricing the projects and working with the commercial team. Day to day duties will vary but could include: You will be tasked to carry out take-offs, bills of quantities, cost plans and tenders. Responsible for estimating all project lifecycle stages, concept, study from detailed design. Prepare comprehensive bids and tender submissions within the required deadlines. Conduct ongoing market research on current costs of material, rates and trends within the industry and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers. Qualifications / Experience Construction or Engineering degree/certificate or equivalent Estimating experience on smaller projects (under £5m in value) Civil engineering or infrastructure background (Essential) Full UK driving licence PLEASE NOTE You must be living and eligible to work in the UK to apply for this position.
