This is a great role to take on a lead role in the Aviation business unit, focused on Airfield lighting projects.

Location: Manchester – UK-wide travel required (fully expenses with lodgings if required).

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 basic + Car or Allowance + Pension + Healthcare + Package.

Role Description: The Resolute Group has been retained to source and secure a Project Manager that takes the lead on Airfield lighting projects. From new build installations through to replacement programmes for Airports to meet their Net Zero targets. Working on projects from £100k - £5m, it’s more about understanding Airfield lighting, the stakeholders involved when undertaking projects, and managing the small team of Electrical professionals on site. You need to understand how a programme is created and interface with the other stakeholders as some larger projects have various Section Managers leading the different aspects of the project.

You need to have experience in Airfield lighting, be it as a hands-on Electrician who has progressed up or an Electrical foreman looking to progress into project management. This role does need someone able to travel as although the first project is based in Manchester, the other positions could be based at both Commercial and MOD airfields across the UK. Full lodgings and expenses are covered if traveling as this is a site-based role, and looking to be on-site 4-5 days a week with occasional home-based working based around admin and reports.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Engineering-based qualifications be it Apprentices, HNC, HND or Degree as you need to be able to be involved with leading technical Airfield Lighting (AGL) issues.
  • Airfield / Airside project experience, ideally from an Electrical background.
  • Full driving licence.

PLEASE NOTE: You must be living and eligible to work in the UK to apply for this position.
