Role Description
The Resolute Group is partnering with a leading Infrastructure client to appoint a Senior Commercial Manager for a high-profile, five-year civil engineering programme. Overseeing a portfolio valued at £100m+, you will be responsible for driving commercial excellence, rigorous cost control, and robust KPI management across a diverse contractor landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Framework Leadership: Foster collaborative, high-performing partnerships with contractors to ensure seamless delivery and proactive dispute resolution.
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Lead a dedicated commercial team managing end-to-end cost administration, performance monitoring, and stakeholder reporting.
- Commercial Strategy & Governance: Ensure all works align with contractual obligations and exceed predefined performance benchmarks.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of commercial professionals, cultivating a culture of precision and accountability.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a delivery-focused professional with a proven track record within a Client-side Infrastructure environment (e.g., Water, Aviation, Rail, or DfT). This role is designed for a strategic operator who thrives on active project delivery rather than high-level framework administration.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Degree – Minimum requirement
- Major project experience ideally under NEC or bespoke contracts around NEC
- Living in or around London as you will be in the office 3 days a week.
