Location: Warrington

Working pattern: Hybrid, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home or travelling to other offices

Salary: £85,000 to £90,000 basic + car / car allowance + bonus + package

The Resolute Group has been retained to secure an Associate Director for a leading client-side consultancy supporting major energy, utilities and infrastructure programmes, including a key National Grid framework linked to the Great Grid Partnership. This is a senior, client-facing commercial leadership role for an experienced professional who can operate at programme level, advise on NEC matters and lead commercial teams across complex infrastructure portfolios.

The role will involve:

  • Leading commercial management across major energy, utilities and infrastructure programmes
  • Acting as a senior commercial and NEC adviser to clients and stakeholders
  • Providing expert guidance across NEC3 / NEC4 contracts
  • Overseeing valuations, forecasting, reporting, claims, variations and final accounts
  • Establishing robust commercial governance across multiple commissions
  • Focused on successful project delivery of a contract
  • Working closely with senior leadership on strategy, delivery and profit and loss (P&L) performance

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience operating at a Senior level within a Commercial environment, with strong commercial leadership experience across major infrastructure programmes
  • Excellent NEC contract knowledge
  • Background in either Highways, Rail, Water, Utilities, Aviation, Power, Energy or major capital programmes operating under NEC form of contract
  • Experience managing senior client relationships and complex commercial portfolios
  • Degree or Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
  • Ideally Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) or equivalent
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
