The Resolute Group have been exclusively retained by the C-Suite of a well-established specialist contractor operating across highly regulated sectors, including aviation, nuclear, and industrial infrastructure. Following a sustained period of growth and diversification, the business is now looking to strengthen its commercial capability with the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor, as they look to develop the internal commercial department.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a contractor delivering a varied portfolio of projects, ranging from smaller works (£100k–£200k) through to major schemes up to £50+ million. Current projects include long-term frameworks within the aviation sector at a major UK airport, alongside secured work within a high-profile nuclear environment, providing strong continuity and long-term project exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support contract administration activities to ensure commercial processes are followed, and payment milestones are achieved.
- Contribute to the preparation of cost reports and cash flow forecasts for internal reporting and client submissions.
- Act as a point of contact for day-to-day commercial matters between the site team, subcontractors, and the wider commercial team, escalating where required.
Experience Required:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar (preferred).
- Experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction, civil engineering, or specialist contracting; familiarity with NEC or similar contract forms.
- Experience supporting core commercial functions such as payments, variations, and forecasting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a project team environment.
- Full UK driving licence.
