Our client is a fast-growing, multi-million-pound backed consultancy shaping the future of digital implementation and transformation across the UK’s infrastructure and utilities sector. They deliver award-winning change programmes that blend deep consulting expertise with digital product innovation, partnering with clients to embed new ways of working and ensure technology delivers real, lasting business outcomes.
As a Digital Change Consultant, the successful candidate will be instrumental in leading and embedding system change, ensuring innovative solutions are delivered effectively and adopted across their customers' organisations. This is a business-facing role that requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, the ability to manage complex relationships, and the confidence to influence new behaviours and ways of working.
The work is incredibly varied, involving stakeholders from large developers to individual homeowners undertaking personal projects, such as barn conversions. The role is part of an industry that is building new communities and shaping the infrastructure we all rely on, where every day brings a new challenge and a new opportunity to make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Change Initiatives: Drive the implementation and rollout of business system transformations, focusing on functions like Developer Services, Finance, HR, and IT.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops, training, and discussion groups with stakeholders at all levels, managing complex relationships to drive end-user adoption.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and articulate a clear vision and case for change. Create robust, tailored rollout plans and 'Go Live' strategies that translate stakeholder needs into actionable process maps.
- Cultural Alignment: Understand the client's culture and change landscape to design effective communication and engagement strategies that resonate with their teams.
- Training and Embedding Change: Partner with project teams to support the design and delivery of training programmes that successfully embed new processes, behaviours, and digital tools.
Our client is seeking an individual who thrives on a challenge and is passionate about delivering impactful change. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven Change Management Experience: Demonstrable, hands-on experience delivering digital change programmes, not just managing from a distance. Experience on projects valued from £100k to £10m is ideal, as these are often more complex and hands-on than global programmes.
- Consultancy Background (Ideal): Experience delivering projects across various clients and business operations is highly desirable.
- Industry Insight: While not essential, experience within the utilities, infrastructure, or construction sectors would be a significant advantage. An appreciation for the challenges and opportunities in areas like Developer Services is beneficial.
- A Collaborative Spirit: An appreciation for the power of collaboration and learning from others in a shared environment is key, as our client values the knowledge gained from direct interaction with colleagues and clients.
A degree or an MBA would be ideal for the level at which this role operates; however, qualifications supported by relevant experience are also required.
