Working for a Tier 1 contractor delivering a long-term Civil Engineering Framework on behalf of Network Rail across the Southwest.

Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 Basic + Car Allowance + Bonus + Package

Location: South West Region (Swindon, Bristol and Exeter)

This role will involve managing Projects throughout the South West region, either individual or multiple depending on the size and scale of what’s involved.

Role Description:

As Project Manager, your role will be to oversee the successful delivery of civil engineering projects across the framework. Reporting into the Senior Leadership Team, you will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and Network Rail to ensure projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and to the required quality standards. Projects will predominantly be Civil Engineering focused with a mix of structures and infrastructure works, including bridges, viaducts, retaining walls, station civils, access structures, and associated rail infrastructure projects. Project values will range from smaller maintenance schemes through to larger capital delivery works across the South West region.

This is an ideal opportunity for professionals working in the Highways sector to transfer your skills into the Rail infrastructure sector, particularly those with experience delivering bridges, structures or large infrastructure schemes, as many of these skills are highly transferable into the rail civils environments.

Required Experience:

  • Formal qualification – HNC / HND / Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred
  • Civil Engineering project experience – You should understand how to deliver projects from both a technical and operational perspective
  • Experience delivering structures, bridges, or infrastructure schemes
  • Full UK driving licence
