We are seeking an energetic, practical, and customer-focused management couple to take on the day-to-day running of our caravan park. This live-in role is ideal for a proactive duo who pride themselves on excellent customer service and high standards.
The responsibilities are split between office administration/reception and full grounds maintenance. Accommodation on-site is provided as part of the package.
Partner A: Reception, Administration & Sales
Your primary focus will be serving as the face of the park, managing the front office, and handling customer accounts.
- Reception & Customer Service: Greeting guests and residents, handling enquiries in person, by phone, and via email.
- Invoicing & Finance: Managing bookings, processing payments, issuing monthly/seasonal invoices, and keeping basic financial records.
- Gas Bottle Management: Taking orders for gas bottles, managing stock inventory, handling gas payments, and coordinating delivery schedules with Partner B.
- Compliance: Maintaining reception presentation and ensuring guest paperwork and park check-ins are handled efficiently.
Partner B: Grounds, Landscaping & Maintenance
Your primary focus will be keeping the park's physical grounds, infrastructure, and presentation immaculate.
- Grass & Grounds Care: Routine grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, weed control, and general landscaping across the park.
- Gas Bottle Delivery: Safely handling, moving, and delivering heavy gas bottles directly to customers' static or touring caravans.
- General Maintenance: Carrying out basic DIY, painting, minor plumbing repairs, and ensuring outdoor lighting and shared facilities work perfectly.
- Waste & Safety: Managing the park's bin/recycling areas and conducting routine daily safety checks across the site.
Driving Licence: At least one partner must hold a full, clean UK driving licence (essential for moving gas bottles and driving park vehicles).
Physical Fitness: Partner B must be capable of lifting and moving heavy gas bottles safely and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Tech Skills: Partner A must be comfortable using computers, email, and basic invoicing/booking systems.
Attributes: Excellent communication skills, a welcoming personality, and the ability to work independently.
