The Reserve is a new and exciting luxury lodge resort set in the grounds of Chester Zoo. Nestled in nature and designed to offer an unparalleled guest experience, The Reserve combines world-class amenities with a unique sense of adventure and tranquillity.

As a Bar and Restaurant Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in the smooth operation of the resort’s dining and bar experiences. You’ll support the leadership team in overseeing daily service, ensuring that both guests and team members enjoy a positive, professional and memorable environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily operations of food and beverage outlets including breakfast, lunch, dinner, events, and bar service.
  • Lead by example, delivering exceptional service and motivating your team to do the same.
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.
  • Ensure high standards of hygiene, health and safety, and compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth, timely service.
  • Handle guest feedback efficiently and professionally, resolving issues where appropriate.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and waste reduction.
  • Help with planning and executing events and private dining experiences.
  • Support with rota management and team scheduling where required.

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a food and beverage environment.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
