The Reserve is a new and exciting luxury lodge resort set in the grounds of Chester Zoo. Nestled in nature and designed to offer an unparalleled guest experience, The Reserve combines world-class amenities with a unique sense of adventure and tranquillity.

The Role:

  • Take responsibility for all maintenance throughout The Reserve; this is a hands-on role working alongside the maintenance assistant.
  • Manage on-site contractors ensuring health and safety compliance is adhered to.
  • Maintain guest lodges and front of house areas to a high standard.
  • Assist with customer requests in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure effective communication and a positive guest experience.
  • Manage costs within budgeted guidelines within the maintenance department.
  • Preparation and communication of property reports for the hotel.
  • Take responsibility for Health & Safety within The Reserve.

What we need from you:

  • Understand hotel property compliance.
  • Able to carry out property maintenance as required.
  • Competent level of computer skills.
  • Intermediate level of health and safety compliance for hotels.
  • Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge.
  • Enthusiastic approach to work and problem solving.
