Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Swim Coach to join the team at Aquilla Health Club on a casual basis.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and is passionate about helping swimmers of all ages and abilities develop their skills and confidence.

You will create a safe, fun and supportive learning environment while delivering high-quality swimming lessons and providing excellent service to our members and guests.

  • As a Swim Coach you will have
  • A valid Level 2 Swim Teacher or Swim Coach qualification (STA, Swim England or equivalent).
  • Experience delivering swimming lessons to children across a range of abilities, with adult coaching experience being an advantage.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive, enthusiastic and professional attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and club members.
  • A positive, flexible attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging swimming lessons that are safe, enjoyable and progressive.
  • Good organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required.

What will I be doing as a Swim Coach?

  • Delivering high-quality swimming lessons to children from beginner through to advanced levels, and occasionally to adult swimmers.
  • Planning and adapting sessions to suit different ages, abilities and confidence levels.
  • Monitoring swimmer progress and providing feedback to parents, guardians and members.
  • Promoting swimming lessons, coaching programs and Aquilla services where appropriate.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and hygiene are maintained throughout the pool environment.
  • Assisting with opening and closing procedures and supporting the wider Aquilla team as required.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding experience for all members, guests and swimmers.

In line with the requirements of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
