Our Front Office team is the welcoming face of our hotel.
As a Receptionist you will be responsible for creating that all important first and last impressions on our guests.

As Receptionist you will have...
- Previous experience in a similar customer facing role, ideally in hospitality
- Excellent communications skills and the commitment to deliver great customer service with a smile.
- Excellent command of the English language both written and oral as telephone work is required
- Good presentation, with an outgoing personality, excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly yet professional manner
- Lots of initiative and be able to work on your own and work well under pressure
- A positive attitude and outlook and a willingness to learn, contribute and grow.
- Flexibility to work any five out of seven days on a rota basis, early mornings, late evenings and weekends as required.
What will I be doing as Receptionist?
- Providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our guests & visitors, ensuring their stay with is us memorable.
- Performing smooth check-in and check-out for guests using Opera
- Assisting with guest enquiries and requests and resolving issues or concerns; responding promptly and professionally at all times.
- Ensuring all housekeeping & maintenance requests and issues are communicated between Reception and Housekeeping or Maintenance promptly & are satisfactorily resolved.
- Operating the hotel switchboard to provide excellent communication between callers, guests and all departments.
- Liaising with reservations to ensure guest requests are dealt with efficiently
- Taking room reservations out of office hours
- Proactively selling all facilities and services available to our guests
- Working with your colleagues to ensure smooth service and high team morale
- Attending training & completing e-learning modules to improve your skills and aid your development
