An established insolvency practice is seeking a dedicated Creditor Liaison Officer to act as the primary point of contact between the firm and creditors throughout the insolvency process.

The successful candidate will ensure effective communication, resolve queries efficiently, and support the smooth progression of cases while maintaining high levels of professional service.

Key Responsibilities

Creditor Communication

  • Manage inbound and outbound communications with creditors via telephone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to creditor enquiries.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key creditor contacts.
  • Provide accurate updates regarding insolvency cases and timelines.

Case Administration

  • Process proofs of debt and creditor claims.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of statutory reports and notices.
  • Monitor creditor responses and voting requirements for meetings and decision procedures.

Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise effectively with Insolvency Practitioners, case administrators, and other internal departments.
  • Escalate complex creditor issues where appropriate.
  • Support the delivery of excellent service standards to all stakeholders.

Compliance

  • Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with insolvency legislation, industry regulations, and company procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Assist with audit and compliance requests as required.

Person Specification

  • Previous experience within insolvency, debt solutions, financial services, banking, or a customer-focused administration role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Professional and confident telephone manner.
  • Previous experience working within corporate or personal insolvency.
  • Knowledge of IVA, CVL, Administration, Bankruptcy, or Liquidation processes.
  • Familiarity with IPS, Vision Blue, Turnkey, or other insolvency software.
  • Experience handling high volumes of stakeholder communication.
