The Regis School is a secondary 11‑18 school with over 1600 students on roll. We are an inclusive comprehensive school that aims to achieve the best for every student. Our performing arts department is a highly ambitious and well‑established team comprising of teachers that are passionate about their subject and driven to support every student achieve their very best. The department is well led and there are several experienced mentors who have a proven track record of offering excellent developmental support to trainees, helping to facilitate the best start to their teaching career.

We have played our part in contributing to comprehensive scheme of work which are shared across the academy trust providing significant support with lessons planning. In addition, we have developed a rigorous and structured teaching and learning policy which alongside high‑quality weekly subject CPD, helps teachers rapidly optimise their teaching ensuring we get the most out of every minute of our students’ time.

To access this training opportunity, you need to have at least a 2:2 degree. This opportunity is a salaried training opportunity. In addition to the bursary, you may be eligible for tuition fee and maintenance loans. Full conditions will be discussed as part of the interview processes.
