Key Responsibilities
- Work with students facing a variety of challenges that affect their progress in the classroom.
- Provide literacy and numeracy support as required.
- Act as a mentor for a group of students or deliver directed intervention for up to 45 minutes each morning.
- Supervise students at break and lunch times, offering structured activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, HLTA’s and Learning Coaches in a flexible, creative and collaborative way.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Resourceful, understanding and patient.
- Ability to work in both classroom and withdrawal settings.
- No requirement for A‑Levels, a degree or a relevant Level 3; however, if not already holding a Level 3 qualification, the candidate must enrol in the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship upon appointment.
