Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and ensure the Bank follows statutory and regulatory procedures to mitigate litigation risks.
- Assist the Company Secretary with company secretarial duties.
- Review and update the Bank\’s standard documents in collaboration with external legal advisors.
- Review, amend, and approve contractual documents with the Bank\’s suppliers and service providers.
- Negotiate and agree on legal documentation, including banking agreements with customers.
- Manage litigation processes through the Bank\’s solicitors.
- Provide advice on employment law and regulations.
- Assist with all aspects of corporate governance.
Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience drafting legal documentation within a financial institution.
- Strong understanding of banking services and products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
