The role involves driving sustainable business growth by developing and delivering compelling client proposals and presentations, strengthening and expanding key customer accounts, and using market insight to improve targeting and win rates. The role will work closely with our commercial and bid teams, contributing to bid strategies and submissions as well as supporting our marketing team to raise the business’s profile through attendance and promotion at relevant industry awards, conferences and events.
The right fit:
- Previous experience within a business development role with evidence of winning work and growing accounts is essential.
- Experience within the construction or retrofit sector is desirable.
- Ability to support pricing conversations, assess risk/opportunity, and prioritise bids that deliver sustainable margin and value for money.
- Strong understanding of tendering, frameworks and public sector procurement.
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Highly organised and proactive in your approach to work.
