The purpose of this job is to provide a high quality, effective and tenant focused intensive housing management service to the tenants in Sheltered Housing schemes as directed by the Neighbourhood and Communities Team Leader (Sheltered & Supported).
You will bring a positive approach to your role, engaging with our customers in a caring and understanding way, ensuring that customers receive the best services possible. You will support with community events, signposting to other agencies, support with day-to-day queries, deal with Housing Management, ASB and Lettings issues.
The right fit
- A working knowledge of supported housing and tenancy management related issues.
- Experience of working effectively with colleagues, contractors, vulnerable tenants and their families/advocates to deliver high quality housing services.
- Experience of managing safeguarding cases.
- You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills with people at all levels.
- Solid ICT skills which can be used to provide an effective housing service both operationally and strategically through performance reporting.
- Strong numerical skills and ability to manage budgets/service charges, process invoices, monitor rent arrear issues and advise tenants or their advocates.
- Ability to liaise effectively and professionally with third parties as necessary.
- Full UK driving license is required.
