The role
We’re looking for an Estate Caretaker who takes pride in looking after neighbourhoods and wants to make a real difference to our communities within the Greater Manchester area. This is a hands-on, varied role for someone practical, approachable, and proactive. You’ll be the friendly face on our estates, carrying out minor odd job repairs, litter picking and helping to keep communal areas clean, safe, and welcoming, while also managing and maintaining communal bin areas, responding to fly tipping and assisting with winter gritting to keep sites safe.
You’ll also take responsibility for the safe use, care and security of tools, equipment, and vehicles, making sure everything is used correctly and in line with health and safety requirements. We’re looking for someone with experience in a similar role, a good understanding of basic building and maintenance work, strong health and safety awareness, a positive attitude and a full UK driving licence. If you enjoy being out and about, solving problems and taking pride in your work, this could be the role for you.
