The purpose of this role is to be part of a team responsible for delivering a high quality, integrated neighbourhood management service that is closer to our customer and helps to create sustainable neighbourhoods. You will support the team in meeting all relevant expectations and standards relating to the social housing regulator and tenant satisfaction measures; complaints within scope of the housing ombudsman service; safeguarding adults and children; legal compliance in service charge management; and managing a diverse range of neighbourhoods through positive estate management. You will contribute towards maintaining a positive culture reflecting Regenda’s values and strategic objectives across the directorate.
For this role you will need to follow housing policies and procedures effectively and understand the roles responsibilities, ensuring we remain legally compliant, whilst meeting regulatory requirements and the needs of our customers. Ensuring all customers are treated fairly, with respect and in recognition of their individual requirements and any protected characteristics, and that all customer complaints and enquiries are dealt with promptly and to a high standard.
The right fit:
- Experience of working to achieve key performance indicators and targets.
- Strong knowledge of social housing legislation. This includes tenant satisfaction measures, regulatory standards, complaints within the housing ombudsman service, service charge legislation, safeguarding legislation, rent regulations and lettings legislation.
- Must be able to drive, have access to a car, hold a valid driving licence and have business insurance to claim mileage.
- Solid ICT skills, knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office.
- An excellent, customer centric approach, good interpersonal skills with an ability to develop excellent working relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
