The Role:
We currently have a vacancy for an Employability Developmental Coach to join our team based in our Fleetwood campus. Our Development coaches plan, prepare and teach a range of knowledge and skills to support learners' progress into a range of industries including Business Administration, dental, construction, childcare. In addition, our Coaches support learners throughout their learning journey with employability skills, which include English, Maths, Digital and personal development. You will deliver engaging and inspiring training and employment programmes to learners aged between 16 and 24, which support young people to achieve their full potential. You will support your learners to achieve their goals and qualifications, advising and guiding them through their programme and supporting them into employment, apprenticeships, and/or Further Education opportunities, supported by business development teams. The programmes you deliver will be well designed and structured, with the ability to respond to individual learner requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver training and employability programmes for learners aged 16-24.
- Support learners throughout their learning journey with employability skills including English, Maths, Digital and personal development.
- Advise and guide learners through their programme and support them into employment, apprenticeships, and further education opportunities.
- Design and structure programmes that respond to individual learner requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with learners and stakeholders.
The Right Fit:
- Passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential, no matter what their background, starting point or situation.
- Experience working with individuals who are not in employment, education or training and delivering employability qualifications for 16-24 year old learners.
- Required to complete an enhanced DBS.
- Recent teaching experience and a relevant teaching qualification.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
- Strong understanding and awareness of mental health issues.
