Permanent role Full‑time (39 hours) on call rota
The Role
As an electrician at M&Y you will carry out electrical installation, maintenance and testing works on social housing and private properties that form part of our client’s portfolio. You may also need to be available for emergency call‑out on a rota basis. You’ll be a good team player and will be required to engage, communicate and liaise with the electrical team, other trade staff at M&Y and the wider teams at The Regenda Group. You’ll also be required to work independently, so excellent organisational skills are essential.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
- B.S.7671 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification.
- Inspection and testing certificate, 2391/4/5 or equivalent.
- Complete NICEIC certificates or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
- Excellent customer service and communication/interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of and ability to follow all health and safety protocols.
- Experience working in social housing is advantageous.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
