Are you a Junior Merchandiser with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for stock, data and performance? Looking for a role where you can step up, make real commercial impact and work closely with Stores, Merchandising and Logistics teams in a fast-paced, supportive environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser to join our Retail Merchandising team.

The impact you will have in this role:

  • As our Junior Merchandiser, you will play a key role in ensuring the right stock is in the right place, at the right time and at the right price.
  • Working closely with a Merchandiser, you will contribute to profitable seasonal range plans, support day-to-day stock management across stores, and provide business-critical analysis to support trading decisions.
  • This is a highly analytical role, ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data and collaborating across teams to drive performance and profitability.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Stock Management
    • Supporting product range selection and building seasonal range plans in line with Merchandiser direction.
    • Using category and performance data to recommend ranges that maximise sales and profit.
    • Creating efficient store “in & out” plans and grading for each season.
    • Monitoring and processing stock movements weekly to maximise sales opportunities.
    • Setting up and maintaining replenishment systems with agreed MDQs, ensuring stock is turned on/off correctly.
    • Supporting the development of an MMA through hands-on guidance and coaching.
  • Stock Analysis & Reporting
    • Analysing sales, sell-through and range performance, making adjustments to plans and orders where required.
    • Providing weekly strategic stock movement forecasts to support sales targets.
    • Producing and distributing weekly and monthly sales reports.
    • Delivering detailed analysis on promotions and products, maintaining a library of insights to support informed decision-making.
    • Flagging supply chain challenges early and working with relevant teams to resolve issues quickly.
    • Communicating regularly with Merchandising and Logistics teams to ensure stock availability.

How Success Is Measured:

  • Adequate and appropriate stock levels across all stores and concessions.
  • Clear visibility of seasonal range plans and performance data across the business.
  • Strong, collaborative relationships with Stores, Field teams and Merchandising colleagues.
  • Exceptional attention to detail when analysing reports and data.
  • Strong communication skills across phone, email and face-to-face with field teams.
  • High level of system proficiency and confidence pulling and interpreting relevant data.
