The duties of the post include:
- Playing Keyboard/Saxophonist/Trumpeter and other instruments at regular services (Sunday Services, Midweek Services, Prayer Meetings, and all Church Occasional Services).
- Training and instructing our growing number of Young Adults to play musical instruments relevant to the African and Pentecostal Christian style of music.
- Co-planning church music festivals and concerts with the church music director.
- Assisting in setting up of church instruments and sound organisation for every church programme.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Secondary School Education.
- A strong personal Christian faith.
- A good knowledge of at least two musical instruments.
- Strong musical abilities, including proficiency in playing at least two instruments.
- Knowledge of various musical styles, including traditional hymns, African songs, and contemporary worship music.
- Ability to teach some musical instruments to kids and volunteers.
- Effective communication skills.
- A commitment and ability to work with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
