Job Description:

The Red House is an independent open plan Nursery for children aged 2 to 4+ years with a diverse teaching team of Early Years Teachers and Practitioners. The position is for an Early Years Practitioner who preferably holds a Level 3 or higher qualification and/or has recent experience in an Early Years setting.

This is a full-year, full-time role working 4 days a week (7.45am to 6pm), with a weekly day off.

The ideal candidate will have experience of high-quality, child-led Early Years practice and will contribute actively to the environment and pedagogy of the setting.

We value enthusiasm and teamwork, especially in our open plan environment. The setting is rated \’outstanding\’ by Ofsted and is recognized as Investors in People. It features diverse resources including musical instruments, clay, sewing machines, woodwork, and an art studio.

Our curriculum focuses on Gardening and Nature, Music, Movement, Storytelling, and Art, emphasizing natural resources and community engagement. We prioritize outdoor learning through daily outings and outdoor activities.

We engage with educational research to inspire innovative Early Years practices. If you are motivated to reflect and re-imagine your pedagogy collaboratively, you will be a good fit.
