We are looking for someone with previous experience within a Room Service Supervisor role with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail who enjoys delivering personalised service to guests.
This position reports into the Darshan Ariyage, Room Service Manager.

This property has 43 individually designed bedrooms, 13 luxury suites and 6 long-stay apartments, a classic lounge area for Afternoon Tea, a modern Stables Bar and a 2 Rosettes restaurant, named Cheneston's.
Key Responsibilities of a Room Service Supervisor
- Oversee all aspects of the daily operations of the hotel’s room service, ensuring consistent, high-quality service is delivered to guests.
- Collaborate with other departmental managers, keeping them informed of any Food & Beverage challenges as they arise and working together to resolve issues efficiently.
- Supervise and guide the Room Service team, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of service.
- Train, coach, and develop the Room Service team to ensure service consistency and adherence to hotel standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate order delivery to guest rooms, maintaining attention to detail in both food quality and presentation.
- Monitor room service inventory levels, ensuring stock is adequately maintained and all items are in good condition.
- Handle guest feedback and concerns, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Effectively maintain and check the in-room minibars for usage, expiry dates, replenishing and charging.
- Delivering in-room amenities to guest before and during their stay.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a Room Service department or Food & Beverage environment, ideally within a luxury hotel or high-end service environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both guests and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering personalized, exceptional service.
- Leadership abilities, with experience in supervising and developing a team.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining professionalism and calm.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operational needs.
