We are looking for a motivated and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our refuse and recycling team in Rhayader. This is a hands-on role combining driving and loading duties — ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a supportive team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Safely drive and transport the refuse team across Rhayader and surrounding areas.
- Collect refuse, recycling, and waste from residential and commercial properties.
- Ensure safe and effective disposal of waste and recyclables.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks.
- Follow instructions from your supervisor to ensure work is completed on time.
What We’re Looking For
- HGV Class 2 Licence (essential).
- CPC Licence & Digital Tachograph Card.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team.
- Good communication skills with colleagues and the public.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime or Saturdays (after bank holidays).
