The role of Fabricator Welder
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated, reliable, and hardworking individual to join their growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with fabrication experience who is keen to further develop their skills in a hands-on engineering environment.
The successful candidate will support a variety of fabrication and assembly tasks, playing an important role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard while continuing to learn and progress within the role.
Responsibilities of the Fabricator Welder
- Operate a range of hand and power tools to support fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Carry out welding duties as required (full training and qualifications provided).
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, following all health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and to quality standards.
- Apply basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and material preparation.
- Assist with the movement and handling of materials and equipment across the workshop.
- Load and unload materials and deliveries, ensuring safe handling and correct storage.
- The Candidate
- The successfully appointed Fabricator Welder will have the following skills and abilities:
- MIG Welding
- Eager to learn and develop new skills within welding and fabrication.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to confidently use a range of hand and power tools.
- Previous experience in structural steel fabrication.
- Good numeracy skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
