Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm)

We are looking for a motivated and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our refuse and recycling team in Newtown. This is a hands-on role combining driving and loading duties – ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a supportive team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Safely drive and transport the refuse team across Newtown and surrounding areas.
  • Collect refuse, recycling, and waste from residential and commercial properties.
  • Ensure safe and effective disposal of waste and recyclables.
  • Carry out daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks.
  • Follow instructions from your supervisor to ensure work is completed on time.

What We're Looking For

  • HGV Class 2 Licence (essential).
  • CPC Licence & Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team.
  • Good communication skills with colleagues and the public.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime or Saturdays (after bank holidays).
