This is a great opportunity for a Junior Development Designer looking to start or further their career in a fast-moving POS / Retail design environment. The role forms a key part of delivering quality service levels and revenue for the company. We are looking for a candidate who ideally has some knowledge of the industry but is more importantly keen and willing to learn from others in the development team as well as the wider business. We have grown significantly in the last 24 months and require additional support to help us develop both within the immediate sector and all adjacencies. The physical requirements for this role would be mild due to this being an office-based role.
Job description: Junior Development Designer (Trade specific) - their main duties and responsibilities include:
- Responsible for taking and interpreting a brief to create planogram type layouts for on shelf solutions.
- Be meticulous in adding detail and adhering to guidelines and brief content whilst providing feedback to the team according to the supplied information.
- Be able to model and insert products of all shapes and sizes.
- Able to work to tight deadlines and report on risk in a timely fashion.
- To conduct yourself in a professional, honest and respectful manner at all times internally and outside of the business.
- Training and coaching will be given to aid in both your personal and professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Planning, workshop, prototype and pre-production to align development activities with sales forecasts.
