Logistics Coordinator Our client is a specialist import and export provider based just outside Haywards Heath.
They are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of the logistics department, ensuring shipments are managed efficiently and customer requirements are met.
Day-to-day responsibilities include: * Coordinate day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring shipments, documentation and customer requirements are handled efficiently and accurately. * Manage your own portfolio of customer and supplier accounts, building strong working relationships and providing excellent customer service. * Liaise with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders and internal departments to ensure the smooth delivery of client requirements. * Prepare and process shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. * Monitor shipments, resolve any issues that arise and keep customers informed throughout the process. * Support the wider logistics team with operational tasks and contribute to maintaining efficient workflows. * Identify opportunities to improve processes and share suggestions to enhance efficiency and customer service.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in logistics, operations or international trade, with a good understanding of sea freight.
