Our client is a specialist import and export provider based just outside Haywards Heath. They currently seek a standalone Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations across a group of companies.
Responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting
- Month end and year end processes
- Payroll
- VAT returns
- Year end audit preparation
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience and understanding of multi-currency accounting
- VAT and CT61 knowledge
- Month End, Year End and Audit experience
- Experience of accounting software (ideally QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills
In return, a salary of £40k-£42k is provided depending upon experience. Due to office location, a full UK driving license and own transport is essential.
