Introduction
Our client is a large organisation based in Newcastle and is looking for a reliable and organised People Support Administrator to join their busy People team.
Objectives
As a People Support Administrator, you will provide efficient and accurate administrative support to the People team, helping to ensure employee information, correspondence and payroll-related data are processed correctly and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and updating people-related data accurately
- Preparing and issuing letters and other employee communications
- Responding to employee queries through the People Support system
- Handling telephone and email enquiries from internal and external contacts
- Providing accurate and timely information to payroll
- Uploading and maintaining documents within the People system
- Supporting the wider People team with general administrative tasks
- Managing multiple administrative tasks and priorities in a busy working environment
Requirements - What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in an administrative or people-focused role
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work calmly under pressure
- Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
- Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues at all levels
- Self-motivated approach with the ability to use their own initiative
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and develop within a People/HR environment
Working Hours
- 35 hours per week
- Monday to Sunday, with weekend working required
- Shifts will be scheduled between 8:00am and 6:00pm
- Permanent, full-time position
