Based in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire

Salary: £32,000 per annum (£14.48 per hour)

Contract: Temp to Perm (after 12 weeks)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Hoddesdon. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual looking for a long-term position with the potential to secure a permanent contract following a successful temporary period.

The Role

As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated components and assemblies, working from engineering drawings and specifications. The successful candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricating metal components and assemblies to specification
  • Reading and interpreting technical and engineering drawings
  • Operating fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
  • Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets

Requirements

  • Previous fabrication experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Competent using fabrication tools and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
