The Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced MIG / TIG Welder for one of our well-established clients within the automotive trimming and fabrication sector.

Pay: £15.00phr - £20.00phr

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm

On-site role

Key Responsibilities:

  • MIG and TIG welding on automotive components and custom fabrications
  • Producing high-quality welds to meet industry and safety standards
  • Working from measurements and basic drawings
  • Assisting with preparation, grinding, and finishing where required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience (5–10 years preferred)
  • Previous experience within an automotive or trimming environment is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Induction & Testing:

  • On-site induction required
  • Welding test to be completed on site prior to placement
