The Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced MIG / TIG Welder for one of our well-established clients within the automotive trimming and fabrication sector.
Pay: £15.00phr - £20.00phr
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
On-site role
Key Responsibilities:
- MIG and TIG welding on automotive components and custom fabrications
- Producing high-quality welds to meet industry and safety standards
- Working from measurements and basic drawings
- Assisting with preparation, grinding, and finishing where required
Requirements:
- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
- Minimum 2 years’ experience (5–10 years preferred)
- Previous experience within an automotive or trimming environment is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Induction & Testing:
- On-site induction required
- Welding test to be completed on site prior to placement
