We are recruiting on behalf of a growing organisation who are seeking a Social Media & Events Executive to join their Digital Marketing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and organised marketing professional looking to build experience across social media, content creation, and event management within a global business. The successful candidate will take ownership of social media channels, support brand engagement, and assist with the planning and delivery of both online and in-person events. The role involves close collaboration with global marketing and sales teams, as well as external partners and distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company's social media platforms
- Create engaging social media and blog content in collaboration with the creative team
- Develop and manage content calendars and forward-planned global social campaigns
- Attend, document, and report on trade shows and industry events
- Support the distribution of company news and press releases
- Monitor, analyse, and report on global social media performance, providing insights and recommendations
- Plan, set up, and manage online and in-person events, including webinars and seminars
- Assist with the organisation of internal, company, and charitable events
Desired Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in social media management
- Proven experience managing social media channels in a professional environment
