We are currently recruiting for a Transport Supervisor to join a busy warehouse operation based in Measham. This is a temporary ongoing position offering a competitive hourly rate. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring drivers are fully briefed and prepared before leaving the site to carry out their deliveries.
This role is based within a fast-paced warehouse office environment and requires someone who is organised, proactive, and able to work independently while managing day-to-day transport operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and control the pre-briefing process for drivers before they leave site to complete deliveries.
- Liaise with drivers throughout the shift to ensure smooth transport operations.
- Log, investigate, and resolve day-to-day operational issues relating to transport and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records and transport documentation.
- Ensure all operations are carried out in line with transport legal compliance and regulations.
- Support the wider warehouse and transport team to ensure delivery schedules are met.
- Work effectively in a busy warehouse office environment while maintaining high levels of organisation.
- Good working knowledge of transport legal compliance is essential.
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics supervisory role is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills when dealing with drivers and internal teams.
