HGV1 Drivers Weekend Drivers Required
Our new client based in Solihull are urgently seeking a HGV1 Driver to work on a weekend. As a HGV1 Driver, your duties will include the following:
- Carrying out nationwide chilled, frozen and ambient goods to store deliveries
- Driving a box sided trailer
- All loads will therefore require the use of either a manual or electric pump truck
- Anything between 1 and 5 drops per shift
- Start time can vary between 0100 to 0600 or 1300 to 1700
- Work available both Saturdays and Sundays
Ideal candidate for this HGV1 Driver role will have the following:
- A current and valid HGV1 licence
- A current and valid driver CPC and digicard
- Minimum 12 months on road HGV1 experience
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- No major convictions showing on your licence
In return for the ideal HGV1 Driver we can offer the following:
- Pay rate between £23.74 and £25.07 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) depending on which shift that you work
- Regular and ongoing work between now and Christmas 2025
