Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role? Our new client based in Solihull are urgently seeking HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Category C+E Drivers.
As a HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Category C+E Driver, your duties will include the following:
- Carrying out nationwide chilled, frozen and ambient goods to store deliveries
- Driving a box sided trailer
- All loads will therefore require the use of either a manual or electric pump truck
- Anything between 1 and 5 drops per shift
- Start time can vary between 1400 to 1830 initially Thursday to Saturday; however, there should be additional shifts available too
The ideal candidate for this HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Category C+E Driver role will have the following:
- A current and valid HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Category C+E licence
- A current and valid driver CPC and digicard
- Minimum 12 months on road HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Category C+E experience
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- No major convictions showing on your licence
In return for the ideal HGV1 Driver, we can offer the following:
- Pay rate between £17.00 and £23.74 per hour (Assignment rate) depending on which shift that you work
- Regular and ongoing work depending on your availability
