An established UK membership organisation operating within a regulated professional services environment is seeking an experienced Non-Executive Chair to provide strategic leadership, strong governance and trusted support to its Chief Executive.

This is a high-impact, part-time role suited to a senior leader with proven board-level experience who enjoys shaping strategy, fostering effective governance, and acting as a critical friend to executive leadership.

The Role

  • Chairing board meetings and ensuring agendas reflect strategic priorities
  • Providing governance oversight across boards and committees
  • Supporting, advising and performance-managing the CEO
  • Championing best practice in governance, risk management and compliance
  • Acting as an ambassador with key external stakeholders when required
  • Promoting diversity, inclusion and constructive board culture

About You

  • Significant senior leadership experience, ideally as a Chair or Non-Executive Director
  • Strong governance expertise and experience leading boards
