We are working with a small, family-run business based in West Oxfordshire, who are looking for a full time Workshop Engineer to join their friendly team. As part of the service team, you will be supporting customers and colleagues through a varied and rewarding range of tasks - both in the field and in their workshop.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Attending customer appointments for equipment servicing, breakdowns, repairs, and part fittings
- Providing technical support to consultants in the workshop
- Assisting with general workshop duties and maintenance
- Conducting assessments for new equipment with customers
- Giving clear, accurate, and appropriate advice and recommendations
- Ensuring timely follow-up through quotes and communication after assessments
- Maintaining up-to-date records of customer orders and ensuring all work is invoiced accurately
- Responding to customer and colleague queries with professionalism and efficiency
- Carrying out other ad-hoc tasks as needed
